- Here are the steps/tips necessary to order picks on-line via PayPal
(credit card or electronic funds transfer) and to ensure we get
the highest quality product to you in the most timely and professional manner...
-
- - Reference the order form from the web page (www.legendpicks.com/orderfrm.html)
to obtain pricing and specification information that you will be required to
enter while in PayPal.
- While processing your order through the "Payment Details" or "Send Money" option
within PayPay, pls follow these instructions very carefully...
Enter "greg@legendpicks.com"
in the "Recipent's E-mail" block (this should pre-populate for you)
Enter "Guitar Pick Order" in the "Payment For" or
"Subject" block
Enter the price of your order as noted on the order form in the "Amount ($)" block
If prompted, enter "Goods - Non-Auction" in the Type Block
In the "Special Instructions" or "Note" block enter the quantity of picks (144, 288, 576 or a different
option we may have discussed), the gauge (thin, medium or heavy), pick color and
imprint color. Also, enter the specifications if you only need block
lettering and/or whether you are sending the artwork electronically. In
addition, pls include your name, address, phone number(s), band/personal
web-site and whether this is a re-order.
You are now ready to click this option and proceed...
- - We accept artwork electronically in most Windows formats (bitmap/tif/jpeg/eps),
but prefer bitmap.
Make sure the artwork is the highest resolution available (up to 1200 DPI),
only black/white (1-bit monochrome with no gray), a couple of inches big and as crisp as you can make it. We have the
capability to imprint very fine detail so the better the artwork the better
the final product. E-mail it to greg@legendpicks.com.
Make sure it is sent to us from the same e-mail address used to process the
PayPal on-line order so that we can match it up.
-
- - For imprinting signatures and hand-written notes, use a black sharpie or
pen and write your requirement on a clean white piece of paper. If you
are using more than one name (first and last, or a combination), consider
putting them on separate lines so we can better fill the pick. Again,
please make sure the signature is a couple of inches big.
-
- - The reason we ask for artwork to be a couple of inches in size is that
allows us to shrink it down and tighten it up to ensure
the best imprint. Do not send us electronic artwork in the size that you think
will be actually imprinted. This will not yield a very crisp print.
-
- - The imprint area we have on most picks is about .821 of an inch.
We size artwork to have the outer reaches exactly touch the border of a
circle this size. In almost every case, this sizing works
perfectly.
-
- - For imprint requirements using only letters, write out your requirement
(capitalization, spacing and font) in the "Note" section of the
PayPal submission form as well. We have hundreds of
standard fonts available so chances are we have the one you need. If
you have a very unique font, feel free to send us the font file
electronically as well or provide a web site where we can download it.
- Pick color and imprint color combinations are up to your personal
preference, but I caution using red or blue imprint on black and shell picks
since the color contrast does not show up well.
- - Why are our prices so low? We get asked this question regularly and
my initial reaction to folks is for them not to be misled into thinking
that our products are somehow inferior and that our low prices somehow
reflect low quality picks and/or poor customer service. In actuality,
our picks themselves and the quality of imprinting are the best in the
world. I consider our prices to be very reasonable and fair for me and
all customers. My margin is minimal but the ability to keep a foot in
the music business is priceless. I further explain my rationale in my
biography, but suffice it say that everyone is a winner when dealing with
Legend Picks.
-
- - Why do we have so many top touring artists for endorsements and
clients? We do business with some of the best known and famous artists
in the music business and continue to receive calls on a daily basis from
customers world-wide asking about our product. Our exponential success
is very simply based on continuing to provide the best quality picks with
the highest level of personal/professional attention to detail and the needs
of clients. The music business is actually a pretty tight-knit group
of players, techs, managers and folks who have embraced our products and
shared their success stories with others they pass on the road.
-
- Our bottom line is to provide superior picks in a timely and professional
manner...
-
- Thanks again for visiting us on-line! We hope to hear from you soon...
-
- Sincerely,
